Orillia’s Household Hazardous Waste Depot  - Open at landfill.

Left-over paints, old medicines, drain decloggers, batteries and motor oil are part of a long list of items classified as ‘household hazardous wastes’.  If not disposed of properly, they can be harmful to human health and the environment. Pouring hazardous waste down the drain may corrode plumbing, release toxic fumes, poison septic tanks, destroy sewage treatment organisms and contaminate surface and ground water.

Bring these items to the Household Hazardous Waste Depot at t
he Kitchener Street Waste Diversion Site.
